Pavek Museum

In this computing experience, students learn about the history of computing and computers through a short lecture. Then students learn complex computing concepts with a hands-on activity using the logic puzzle game Turing Tumble. The volunteer opportunities listed for this program take place on-site at the Pavek Museum. "Code Quest in the Classroom" is the one that travels to the schools. As of now, only shadowing is available because this is our newest program. The Pavek Museum has a joint field trip program with the Bakken Museum where schools and organizations can visit two museums in one field trip. Double experiences means there is two groups of 20+ students in one day and a 20 minute break between the two groups is included.
