Pavek Museum

Code Quest in the Classroom brings a Pavek Museum Educational Experience to local schools! The volunteer start time includes the time we should meet at the Pavek Museum to carpool to the location together. Depending on the location, other arrangements can be made (for example, the school is closer than the museum). In this computing experience, students learn about the history of computing and computers through a short lecture. Then students learn complex computing concepts with a hands-on activity using the logic puzzle game Turing Tumble. This volunteer opportunities listed for this program take place on-site at the Pavek Museum. "Code Quest in the Classroom" is the one that travels to the schools. As of know, only shadowing is available because this is our newest program.
